I’ve been getting a lot of requests for video so we’ll see how this goes.
Today I’m talking about what we can do when we have the urge to interrupt others.
The practice looks like: feeling the feeling come up in the body, acknowledging it, understanding why it’s there and not judging it. Then letting it go, pausing, breathing, and before we speak asking ourselves whether what we are about to say is kind, honest, and helpful.
These moments where we come up against old patterns are so important, because they are the moments we get to practice a new way of communicating.
