Stressful Communication

Stressful communication is language that makes us feel uncomfortable, judged, attacked or hurt in any way. It is language that triggers our default reactions that keep the conversation heated and rarely, if ever, help to resolve an issue or come to any type of collaboration or agreement.

Stressful communication feeds stressful reactions and so the cycle continues, forcing us to keep suffering again and again.

How do we move away from this behavior to something easier, lighter, freer? How do we move the conversation away from suffering?
