Finding something similar to Spanish coffee

I have been back in the U.S. for a year  and although I have the same Spanish coffee maker that I had while in Madrid (The Moka pot), finding the perfect beans to go with it has been rough. But then, guess what happened? I finally came across an exquisite coffee bean! The company that makes the bean is Counter Culture. The bean: Espresso Toscan0. Even though the bean is inspired by grounds in northern Italy, what makes this similar to some of the coffee in Madrid is that it’s not bitter.  There’s a process common in Spain of adding sugar during the roasting process and the Espresso Toscano tastes almost identical to what comes out of that process even though there’s no sugar added.

As I was poking around, I found out that Counter Culture offers a coffee education program. I might just have to sign up and share the wisdom!
