A lot of people wouldn’t think that indecision has to do with the way we communicate with ourselves, but it does.
It’s in these moments when we say to ourselves, “I just can’t think right now.” “I don’t really care, it’s up to you.” Or “It’s not that big of a deal.” The truth though, is that it’s possible we do care and we do know what’s needed, we just can’t access clear thinking in the moment. How then do we work with indecision when it comes up? How do we speak in a kind, honest, and helpful way when our default is to be indecisive?
That’s what I’m talking about below.
